Lantern ceremony 2014

It was honestly my first time going to the lantern ceremony..and it was an awesome idea my dongsaeng had..

(FYI dongsaeng practically means younger brother in korean..and we aren't in any way romantically involved with eachother)

I wanted to put that out there..it seems like people be assuming that he's my bf..LOL..hes my little brother from another mother! LOL 

 It was a great experience! Granted it was very crowded but it was worth it.

The lanterns were so pretty..I wish I could've stayed till the dark..
Can't wait till next week..hehehehe

I've been called a mermaid numerous times..especially more in my adult life..I'm very fortunate to have been born and raised in Hawaii. To have the ocean always be a part of my life. I'm tied to the ocean..to swim in the waters..to feel the sun shine down on me..it washes away my worries and problems..

One day I'll have to leave..but Hawaii..is always my home.

The chase

Sometimes one wants the chase..To chase something elusive like a sunset..Never to possibly obtained..

I personally love this picture for many reasons..I was very fortunate to capture it and have it come out the way it did..I wish I could have a beach day like this again..It was such a fun adventure.

The Ocean is where I belong

Had An awesome beach day with my brother since "someone" did want to accompany me today! LOL LOL just joking..My brother and I been wanting to go..and we lucked out today with such nice weather. 

Waimea beach was the spot and it was nice for a moment when we practically had the beach to ourselves. 

Gotta love my brother..he makes the weirdest faces! We then ate at Lanikai Juice cause man..I've been craving that place and actually eating the Acai bowl there was bomb! The honey, granola, and acai..just yums! LOL

 It was one short and sweet visit to the beach..but it was well worth it.
 

Muddy pillbox hike/ Lanikai Beach

Well..today was one adventurous day. Isaac, and our H.S. classmates Phil, Matthew, and Phil's GF Sam and I went to hike pillboxes in Kailua area. When I woke up this morning it was raining. I was hoping it wouldn't be too rainy since it was also planned to go to the beach. Lets just say that it was rainy all over but altogether it was fun!

It got foggy at one point. I've never done this hike before. I've also never hiked in the rain either. So this experience was different but fun.

 said "No ways, man. Lanikai got nothing on the North Shore!" lol

We then ate at Kalapawai? I cant remember if that was the name..LOL

 

Where I had a bagel and the motherload of cream cheese. I had to give some to Isaac. It was too much. Plus this guy wanted to eat a cinnamon roll..which lead him getting a quart of milk. FYI I drank more than half of the carton. LOL I had a bite of the roll..talk about instant diabetes! LOL We even scraped off most of the icing. 

We then heading back..LOL due to the rain and the clouds the mountains looked like Jurassic Park. 

Then I pass out due to the lack of sleep I had the night before! 

It was one fun adventure. I hope we get to do it again soon!

Random Beach visit with the family

feeling: honestly blessed

Just came back from one random visit to the beach. It was so last minute I had just enough time to grab my beach bag..put on my bikini and head out the door! 

My parents had the sudden urge to the to beach and honestly the beach, mainly North Shore has always been in my childhood. Its was almost like every weekend my dad would have us go to the beach..so he could surf. LOL That's where my love for the ocean came from.

Also it seems to be a topic of how skinny I've gotten. LOL The funny thing is I didnt realize I was out of shape or I dunno..But what's even more funny is that I've been eating for the past couple months these microwave lunch things..because...well they just happen to have them at my job so I've been eating those..and they're apparently like lean cuisine..LOL Soooo..hey! LOL

P.S. the dark man in the blue shorts is my dad..gonna go boogieboarding.

We also stopped by Lanikai juice..which was my mom's first time there..She got the Traditional Acai bowl..I think it was the same thing Isaac got..what she said after she took a bite.."Ho! That shit was euphoric, man!" LOL she's so funny! She was raving the whole time bout the honey and whatnot! Too funny!

Great beach day!

Feeling: Slightly crisp but it was worth it!

Well yesterday was a good day! Isaac and I went to the beach..which is always the best place to go. So we make our way down to the North Shore! 

I know this road too well.

 LOL..I'm sure if you know me well enough you know where we went! But the plan was to go to a different beach but because it looked so nice. We decided for Waimea..My fave beach

The water was very nice and the reason I got so crisp was because I was so happy that the sun was out for once!

 I was being a bad subject and kept moving around and was taking random candid pictures of him. LOL

 I even took a pic of this random beached man..passed out in the sand. LOL and Isaac taking up most of my towel!

 

We then headed to Haleiwa to eat at Cholo's. There's no pics due to the fact that we were at Waimea roasting for almost 5 hrs..and He and I was hella hungry! LOL 

But we did make our way to Lanikai juice..Which is always one of the spots I like to stop by when I'm in Haleiwa. I got my Strawberry Shaka..and Isaac got a Traditional Acai Bowl??? I dunno..He said
Traditional thing/ Baby food! LOL

After that our adventure continued with going to a different beach..my friend showed me this beach and I wanted to take him there. Granted he grumbled most of the time due to the walking. LOL

 But it was worth it. Sadly the waves were kinda rough..so there wasnt much turtles this time around.

 I was being a trouble maker again..LOL

 The scenery was great! We also hanged a bit longer to see part of the sunset..I say part cause we didnt want to walk back in the dark. LOL

 Teaching me the ways of lighting and why it doesnt show how red it was at that moment..

 By the way these pictures were taken with my Samsung note 3! It has one awesome camera. Plus no filter. 

I really loved this beach too! It was nice and quiet and such beautiful scenery..

I really loved that I had all day to go on adventures..Ive been kinda missing those type of days. Quite reminiscent of last summer..where I went on an adventure almost every single day.  

Thanks for coming with me, Isaac! I can't wait to go on an adventure again!
